At what age should you start exposing your kids to monsters (in music, art, literature, etc.) on a consistent basis? How many different monsters?

I started showing my kids stuff like that at a young age and we would laugh at scary movies and I also told my kids they only monsters in the house are them. To me and yes this is my opinion I know alot wouldnt agree with me but if you start at a younger age its easier and they are less scared.

This is an odd question. Only you know the maturity of your children. You should shelter them from things that will traumatize them or scare their pants off.

Monsters are fake and I never hid them. Therefore, my kids never grew fearful of such things.
