Yes - take him to the vet. Even though the cat does not seem to be in pain (in your eyes) the fact that he is favoring the leg assures you that he is in pain. Cats hide their pain and injuries very welll becuase in the wild, any show of vulnerability is an advertisement to other predators to come get them for dinner! He may have a slight fracture or a bad inner bruising and inner inflammation. The vet can assess any damage and prescribe proper treatment to help the healing process and manage the pain.

Cats often will not show signs of pain because it shows to other animals that they are weakened..... the cat limping is a good sign something is wrong. I think the vet visit would be well worth it as the cat could develop further problems getting around if it's a fracture or muscular injury. Better safe than sorry... Hope the cat feels better
Good luck

You should still take him to the vet, even if he's not showing a sign of any pain. Cats sometimes don't show that they are in pain, but by your cat limping, that is a sign. If he's been limping for 6 days, then there could be a broken bone or a torn ligament in his foot. It is best that you take him and have him checked out. If it is indeed a broken bone, and if it starts to heal incorrectly, it will cause the cat to have a permanent limp. Please have him checked.

Yes, take kitty to the vet. The same thing happened to my kitten Merry when she was a few weeks old. :-( She limped for a few days but the pain seemed to have gone away; I was worried so took her to the vet. She said that Merry had broken a bone in her little foot and bandaged it up. She did say that had we left it, Merry would have been at risk of arthritis when she got older. I'm not trying to scare you, I just though I should add that as nobody else mentioned it so far.

If you had been limping for a week would you got to the doctor.....? I know I would!
Seriously though, yes, I'd take him to the vet, it could be an even bigger problem than you realize. A vet should certainly be able to do something useful. At the very least call a vet and ask them their opinion.

If he is still limping after 6 days, he should see a vet. If he won't put weight on it, it might be broken..

I don't know about you, but my cats are my babies! I would at least call the vet's office and ask them what you should do! Worse comes to worse, She could have fractured or broken a bone and it could not only be painful, but may risk her life!~ I would take into consideration, what "I" or "you" would do if it were you and not your cat! Don't you want to protect them from all harm, anyways? I do! Good luck with this!

Well, my cat just LOVES my dog. One day they were playing around, (My dog is a four foot saint Bernard, Vs. an eight inch kitten), and the dog stepped on its paw, after about two weeks or so, of laying on the bed as we kept having to carry it to its bowl six times a day, it eventually got up and ran (with no limping), and too vengeance on the dog. So I bet if you just give it time, then the cat will get batter. No point in waiting money on a simple limp, it will fix itself...don't worry.
