I pulled up Windows Movie Maker, put in the DVD, but now I have no idea how to import clips to make videos and such.
Help?

I'm pretty sure you can't directly take stuff from DVD's to WMM. I would rip the DVD using Nero or similar software, make it one kind of file playable/importable by Movie Maker (like .wmv or .avi, .mpg, etc.), and then try to import. DVDs aren't setup as single files with the common format so Movie Maker can't copy DVDs directly.
