I suppose you mean modern war with airplanes and tanks and such? If so, Thin Red Line & Saving Private Ryan.

300, the movie that just opened this past Friday was epic. If you’re looking for old style battlefield with horses, swords & shields this was the best ever in that genre if you ask me.

Two that spring to mind.The Brotherhood about 2 brothers in the Korean war.9th Company about Russians fighting in Afghanistan.Subtitled but certainly worth watching.
