HI,
i am addicted to vanilla milkshakes, and have been drinking them for years. About a year ago, i noticed that all of the supermarkets like asda and tesco stopped making their own brand vanilla milkshake powder, which confused me a bit, but the big companies were still making it...YEAY! anyway, about 6 months ago, even the big companies stopped making the vanilla milkshake powder...EVEN NESQUIK...i stugggled for weeks to find ANY vanilla milkshakes until i discovered yazoo, which is quite expensive, but is the only i can find. I went to my supermarket last week and noticed that they didnt have any in stock and i just thought they had ran out, but when i went the next week...the same. I asked somebody and they said they cant seem to get hold of it, but they dont know why. Evem my corner shop has just sold its last bottle of yazoo, and said that they also cant get it any more...and they dont know why. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHY THIS IS HAPPENING, OR HAS ANYBODY ELSE NOTICED THIS???

Oh my god, I have been having the same trouble as you...I swear.
My daughhter loves vanilla milkshake and the only place I have been able to find it is Marks and Spencers ( because its in a 1 litre bottle).
Why is this? What the heck is going on?

omg this is so sad. i love vanilla anything! and i hadn't noticed i'm sorry but i suggest you try some forums or emails to the companies who stopped making them perhaps the vanilla milkshake lovers were not bringing in enough revenue...

I always make my own, just cold milk, a dollop of vanilla ice cream and a drop of vanilla essence and chuck it all in the liquidiser for a few seconds.

Blimey, this is heavy stuff! No doubt many answers will be forthcoming, but you may wish to buy some vanilla pods to tide you over.
