if he moved to another state, it wouldn't work out, but if he moved streets away, then take the plunge! Don't hide from ur feelings from him because later if he gets another girl, ur going to regret on not telling him sooner. TELL HIM!!

Wow, I kind of have the same problem. I have a best friend who I've known since I was 5 too and right now I'm almost sixteen. We did everything together, until I moved away in 2003. Now I live in a completely different state but we keep in touch by phone and email. Well on to the answer. One day I was just being really brave in my email and said that one day I would marry him. Suprisingly he said that when I asked, he would say yes. I'm not completely sure if he likes me in the same way, but at least I got a little part of the truth out. Now all he has to do is say something. If you and your best friend are really close, then you should be able to tell your feelings. He's your friend and he won't judge you about it. And if he doesn't feel the same way, your friendship will last I'mm sure. But don't regret not asking, because he might say he likes you too. Lifes to short, just speak to him. Good luck:)

Don't tell him and see what happens. I've liked my best friend of 10 years and never told him/dated him, and I've found someone I can relate to more and he has also. We are like brother and sister and we fight a lot, so it was good we had never dated. If you two feel like you have a brother/sister relationship also, you should try to find another guy.

Just come right out and say it. If he doesn't feel the same way, it might be a little uncomforable for a while, but at least you'll know. Also, if he DOES feel the same way, maybe it won't turn out bad. You never know until you try.

i agree with the other person. tell the truth. same thing happened with me and my husband. we were friends for years and finally we both admitted that we had feelings more than just friends. i am glad i got the nerve to let him know how i feel. its true he probably asked you for a reason. more than likely he likes you more than a friend. just take a deep breath and tell him. quicker you do it the quicker you can get it over with. trust me its not that bad. me and hubby have been togther for 12 yrs now.
