As an American Muslim myself, we are not allowed to hate for reasons like race, gender, color, etc.... This is forbidden in Islam.
These were the traits of people in the days of Ignorance till Islam came to make all mankind equal. I can be supperior only by my Taqwa (Level of Faith), but not by white skin, etc...
As for nationalities, we are all humans, created by The Lord, with red blood inside our bodies. The difference between a Lebanese and an Iraqi would be the Name of the Nation they live in.
That said, you will come across some Muslims who have not even read much about their own religion and still accept the Ideas from the days of Ignorance. Amazingly overlooking it as something simple and justified. Not because Syrians occupied Lebanon, so then lebanese have to hate syrians. No.
By Satan is smart and makes us fall into traps very often.

im an american muslim and if someones truly a muslim theyll love everyone , in and out of the religion, but the general consensus seems to be american muslims like arabs

Not to my knowledge. To be a Muslim, one is to love his brother as he does himself. He wants for his brother what he wants fo himself. This is the true teachings of Al-Islam.
