And the book of Revelation says, "I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus." The Babylon in Revelation is identified as "The city on the seven hills", which is Rome.

No. Jerusalem and the temple of Solomon will be rebuilt by the Jews before the coming of the Lord.

Some have said the New Babylon represents Rome. But I think a truer interpretation of the scripture is anything that is worldly, materialistic, or in other ways leads a person away from God.
