Who's to say that you, right now, are still asleep and haven't awakened? Maybe Yahoo Answers is just a dream... or a nightmare?

No, you'd be in a coma.
People in comas are not dead, this is proven by the fact they have the ability to wake up again at some stage.
You would obviously eventually die, but just because you are asleep you are not dead.

If you "never" wake up again, I would assume that you're dead. But the bigger question is, if you close your eyes forever, will things still remain the same? Apologies to the Ozz.
