I want to find one that runs well don't really care about exterior.

I doubt you can find one cheap, as 70's cars are quite expensive now. Back in 1984, I paid $2100 for my 1971 Chevelle and it was in decent shape. Today it would have cost a lot more. Just look for ads in your local paper. That's how I got mine. You can try calling around junk yards, as they may have some old bodies, but expect them to be missing a lot of parts and to be in very poor shape.

I have been looking around for Chevelles too. Try Craigslist.com they have a really good selection, you just have to hit it at the right time

Occasionally, say, once every 20 years, you can find some little old man who has one and can't drive any more, or he has died and the estate is selling his car. If you are REAL lucky, you can get one cheap that way. (don't get your hopes up very high)
