Can I use Vermouth vs. white wine?

I am making Beef Stroganoff and the recipe calls for white wine but I am out of it. Can I use Vermouth instead?

Yes, the flavor will be a little different but will still be wonderful.

I would say SURE!
I know the Vermouth is very very SWEET....
I myself don't care for the SWEET WINES! LOL it's just me!

Yes- I do it all the time and it works quite well.
