Mahogany or chestnut highlights can add some interest and dimension to your hair.

You can make a sophisticated ponytail by wearing it low, wrapping a section of your hair around the elastic and securing it with a pin. You can also use a ribbon for a touch of whimsy.

Hair bands are in this season. Plain thin ones are very classic. Or you can use a scarf for a retro '60s look. You can embellish plain ones with hot glue and buttons or beads for a casual or evening look.

You can make your hair into a neat bun. For a plain but finished look, pin down strays w/ hair pins that have tortoise shell on one side. (Goody makes them.) For a dressier effect use hair pins w/ pearls or rhinestones.

For a casual look, make a messy bun or chignon.

You can braid your hair & wear the braid down. Or you can loosely braid your hair & create a bun.

BTW, you can braid your hair after shampooing and let it dry. Take out the braids and you'll have a loose wave/crimp that's perfect for a beachy, summer look.

Allure & InStyle are really good magazines for hair style ideas.

A good way to change your look a lot is to get bangs. Also, you can ask the hair cutter at the place you plan to get your hair cut for ideas. I have my hair layered, and like a lot. I think layers are good, but you could also get extensions to get longer hair, and get more options of hair cuts. Also, a perm would be another way to make your look more exciting. If yu have straight hair, maybe get it curled, or vice versa? I think if you were to change your hair color, you should go to the store and try out the temporary hair dyes, so if you don't like it, it's not permanent. I would go with blond highlights, but there are other colors that would look good, too. My friend got orange highlights, and it looked really nice. Well, I hope when you do decide, it turns out nice and you like it! :D

Ive been haveing da same prob so heres what I did, after I showered I dryd my hair then put it up in soft curlers and slept in it, then I took them out and just combed around da curls as to not mess them up...or take da curlers our and brush all yo hair includeing da curls and it will be wavy, then brush it all on to da right (or left if you want) side of yo head and rest it on dat shoulder...it will work very well unless you have bangs then it might now.

Have your hair cut to the shoulders in long layers with a long wisp side bang. Then have it dyed medium golden brown and have it highlighted with gold highlights around your face. Also change your makup too. Buy a new foundation to match your skin color, a new spring blush, a beige eyeshadow, navy eyeliner and black mascara. Buy a lovely salmon/peach lip gloss. There you go...a new you ready for spring.

add some red undertones (not an unnatural red) and get it tapered (shorter in the front and gradually gets longer going front to back)

Maybe you can try getting some bangs or layers if you haven't already...you could try highlighting your hair...experimenting is good...if your hair is straight, try curly...if your hair is curly, try straight. =]
