They marry for money, they don't make decisions on their own, they do whatever other women do for that reason, they are hard to figure out, and they are lovely creatures.

Since I was a little kid, I heard the expression "women drivers". It refers to women who didn't drive very much back in the 50's and 60's.
Women today drive much more and have as much time at the wheel as men, but still find it a challenge to parallel park and to stay out of the "blind spot". The blind spot is the area next to another car that is behind them just enough to get lost in their mirror, but not clear enough to see out of the side window. I don't know why anyone would drive in the area where they could not be seen by other traffic...driving is dangerous enough when you can see everything.
The safest thing is to either pass the car or drop back a little. That way, both cars have enough room to safely change lanes and still see each other.
