Don;t worry too much about it - your celebrant will say the words very slowly to you only a couple of words at a time and you just reapeat without thinking about it.

If you are having a church ceremony there is usually a rehearsal too so that you know what will be happening.

You will also find that when you step into that room/church there is such a feeling of love and support from your family and friends that will ease your nervousness. But if in doubt a little bit of dutch courage might help!

Good luck!

I think the "traditional" vows vary slightly from religion to religion as you see by the answers above. Speak to your miniser or officiant and they will tell you what version you will be using.

Here are the vows we said in the Episcopal ceremony

When we booked we were given a book of suggestions and we picked from them. I didn't know what I really said until I got the booklet from my officiant all you do is repeat what they say.

Check with the minister or pastor of the church you are getting married in, then you will have the ones specific to it.
