I have a male Exotic Shorthair and I just love him. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who has one (or more) and has any stories to tell about him/her.

I have an orange Exotic whom I rescued from a local shelter. It was love at 1st sight! He had a URI & was sneezy with watery eyes, but I couldn't resist him. When I saw him, I told my husband (with tears in my eyes), "THAT'S HIM!" & he looked at me as if I were NUTS. I took him to the vet, brought him home, named him Archie, & he's now my best buddy. His personality is so sweet, & he loves to be held up to look out the backdoor window (he begs for it anytime I go near the backdoor). He loves peanut butter & ice cream. He has the personality of a toddler, & is very funny. I've heard him literally calling "MOM?" in the middle of the night a few times, & I've woken up thinking it was my daughter! I don't know how he does it. But he's just a riot, & I thought I'd share. I'd recommend this breed to anyone who wants a loving, funny, adorable buddy. I've even made him into a cartoon. Yes. I have a male Exotic Shorthair tabby also. He's almost 3. He too loves peanut butter. Exotics seem to be very fun cats. He loves to play fight and run through the house. Any toy you give to him is appreciated. And like someone else said, he'll give "kisses" when you ask him to.

Yes I have an orange exotic female cat. shes now about 3 years old. my gramma had a bunch of cats at her house that were strays and then they had kittens and mine is the only one that survived from food poisoning from our mean neighbor. she has a permanently broken tail so sometimes i call her crooked even though for some reason she only follows by the name lucy. hmm.... any stories? well she loves to look out of the window at the birds and make little squeaky noises when she sees one. well one time she was walking by the window and saw a couple squirrels on the window pane and she went crazy! little did she no, the window was open and flew through it and some how she got beaten up by squirrels. one of the strangest out of my 5 cats.

I have a mix oriental red-siamese with a very temperamental personality!!!
He *talks* (typical siamese trait) whenever he wants something. He dominates and *rules* over the other 3 cats, although he is not the oldest!
He is very responsive, when I say: "wanna kiss mommy?" he rubs his whiskers on my cheeks, he likes to sleep under the covers, opens cupboard doors, likes to drink from the bath tub's faucet or from the swimming pool, he sometimes sneaks up on me and is very playfull and affectionnate.
