Should i tell her friend??

To start off to make life simple i'll give these people names-
Girl i like- Melissa
Melissa's best friend- Karen
My friend- Alex

i like Melissa A LOT and a lot of guys like her too. i became good friends with her best friend, Karen, because i've heard its smart to do. a little while ago one of my friends, Alex, asked Karen if she (Karen) liked me... Karen said yes (i dont think she knows that i know). now my dilemma is, should i tell Karen that i like Melissa?? Karen might draw back from me because i like her best friend (Melissa) or she might tell me she likes me (i really don't like her in that way).

oh yea i should add that karen tries to flirt with me online (instant messaging) but i dont really flirt back. i also hear karen talking to one of her friends (not Melissa) about me because i hear my names. i say "did somebody call me??" they just deny it


PLEASE HELP!! should i tell karen i like melissa or not?

well, maybe not telling karen that you like Melissa. but telling karen you don't like her in a romantic way: yes you should. the more you wait, the more complicated the situation will get. I would not mention Melissa though. I think it is unnecessary and could hurt Karen's feelings even more. Then you'd loose in every way. Be careful with the situation you have put yourself in: "using Karen" to get to Melissa. I am not blaming or judging. I am capable of the same. but, i know that down the line, if your friendship towards Karen is (and remains) completely fake, you may have to pay for the lie in ways you would have never imagined. So be careful and think for yourself: Should I keep on doing what I have been doing or is it time for me to be sincere, reconsider my dream and the manner to obtain it. Sometimes new situations are signs that things must or will change.

You can try, but girls are usually pretty loyal to each other. If Melissa knows Karen likes you, even if M likes you back, she probably won't do anything about it. I say wait a little bit. Maybe Karen will start liking someone else, and you can tell Melissa how you feel without ruining their (or your) friendship.

yes because now she is telling melissa not to sth with u beacuse she likes u and of course melissa wont! the plan u had turned against u finally look if u dont tell her u have no chance believe me if u tell her u have at least some chances good luck pal
