okay, if you aren't allowed to date, it's a bad way to start things off. First, when you ARE allowed to date then your parents will trust you less if you get caught. They could even make it where you have to be even older before you date. You can call him though. There is a difference between having a "date" and a friend who is a guy. If he is really worth it then you could be GOOD friends until you are able to date. You could also try talking to your parents and see if they would be willing to meet him and let you date under supervision.

13? 13. No. Do NOT call him. You are NOT ready to date, contrary to what you obviously think. It saddens me to see that kids these days think they are ready to date.
Why do you want to date, anyway? At 13, do you really think it'll last? In my opinion, why bother dating if you're just going to break up with him two months later?
Oh yeah, and if your parents say no.....come on, just respect them. Without them you wouldn't even be here. They know far, far better than you do what they're talking about. They are totally right for not letting you date.

I don't think that you should call. Reason being for 1 not allowed ...not worth getting in trouble with the parents in the long run..you have time. 2. it's your friends ex ..ask yourself if he so worth it, why is your friend not with him...and again in the long run it may affect friendship...and that's definitely not worth it. Think carefully b4 you decide. There may be consequences and repercussions.

I don't want to advise you to do anything against your parents' wishes. Talk to them first about the situation. If they still don't approve of you dating yet (which is understandable because 13 is kind of young), call the guy and tell him that although you really like him, your parents won't let you date. If you mean something to him, he'll still want to hang out with you. Good luck with your parents!!!

Well, you should call him. But hold back on the dating for a while. Build up your self confidence for the future. That is what this situation will more then likely be good for in the long run. (sorry to be a buzz kill)

goodness what is up with you 13year olds? Concentrate on school. He's worth it? the boy is around your age. Neither of you are mature enough to be in a relationship. Don't rush into anything with a boy. Take this time in your life to enjoy your youth.

Don't rush your life. You're too young to date. Hang out with your girl friends and window shop until you're old enough to date. That way you'll know exactly what kind of guy you'd like to date. :)

You are sort of young, but just be careful. Don't do anything you would not have wanted to. Don't get your parents angry either because they won't trust you later in life. Just call him, he gave you his number for a reason.
