First of all let's get rid of the politics. Wether you are a Democrat or Republican support the troops by writting letters of support, care packages, prayers or any other way you can think of. Just don't be critical of them. I support them everyday of the week were I work. I work in the Green Zone in Baghdad they need all the help they can get.

You can support the troops, by support what they are dying for the fregin MISSION!!!!!!!

Sometimes, war is the darn anwer. And this was the time.

The president and his administration decided to go to war for damn good reasons. They may not be clear to us, because we can't ALL know the truth. Remember, what WE know, the terrorists know too (as in the general public)

If you really want to get involved 'supporting our troops' check out this web site. Why do they exist? Do a google search on WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH and you'll see why we (the Patriot Guard Riders) stand against that hate group.
It costs nothing to join the PGR, no meetings and no dues. All you have to do is be willing to stand for those who stood for us. Check out the photo section...even in your state.

You pronounced, "i ought to verify no longer helping the conflict, that's comprehensible, yet why might you no longer help the folk scuffling with and dropping their lives over there?" i think of the venture is that the folk that don't help the troops won't be able to verify the bigger image and are unable to chop up the girls folk and men persons scuffling with the conflict from the regulations that further the conflict. i think of, in case you ought to get the folk with the signs and indicators asserting "do no longer help the troops" to think of relating to the folk and not the coverage, you will possibly locate that extra human beings help the troops than do no longer.

Before I answer, I have to ask if you are talking about politically supporting them, or what can you send to show your support?

Politically supporting them is easy. They are not the ones that made the decision to go fight, they are just following orders. Wish for them all to come home safely, and if you are religious, pray for them to come home safely.

If you want to know what you can send to show support, you can send letters to anonymous soldiers, or care packages with non-perishable foods, dvd's, cd's, games, cards, magazine's, and lots of other things.

By not tolerating those that aid the enemy by attacking our president in a time of war. By contacting representatives to let them know that we will not tolerate a move to cut off all funding to our troops while we are in the middle of a war.

Our troops are heroes, and they deserve to know that we stand behind them. We that stay at home need to show a fraction of the courage that they have shown, and stand against the lies- everyone that voted for the war had the same information, and to continue to say that our president lied is simply enemy propaganda. That is why terrorists love the liberals. They have the same speaking points.

Do what apparently not one Congressman, President, Vice President or General did. Visit them in the hospital. I can't help but think how many of these flag waiving Republicans would think twice if they spent an afternoon with a ward full of wounded.

Look in Yahoo! for Soldiers' Angels. I have been involved for almost two years, and for a while I had adopted a soldier from the Texas National Guard who was serving. Then I wrote letters to recouperating soldiers around the country, and sometimes would send gift cards to the families of soldiers serving overseas if they were very bad off.

I have found it very uplifting.

Make our "leaders" get them out of Iraq. Make our "leaders" drop their obsession of taking over the world. Educate our children better so they don't feel like the only road to college is through the military.

The best way to support our troops is to allow them to lay down their weapons and drive to Kuwait and catch a plane HOME.
