My dog gets mad when i blow into his nostrils, but when my dad takes him out in his pick-up truck, he sticks his head out so the wind can blow into his nose. Anyone knows why that is so?

Best reason I can think of is when air is being blown into his nose from you it isn't fresh air and it's a sudden burst of air backing up his respirations. When the wind gets to him its fresh and blowing on his whole face. It's like when somebody blows into your face it's bothersome but when you are standing in the wind or on a roller coaster it feels nice.

Dogs stick their heads out the window to smell all the smells around the road and to see all the sights. It's just the same as looking out the window for a person. Think about it, do you like people blowing in your nose? No. It's rude and annoying. Your dog's probably thinking the same thing.

He probably doesn't like how your breath smells.

Do you use any "breath freshing" prouducts? (most dogs don't like minty smells)
