Among those of us who call ourselves Christians there is a tendency to get things blended together.., forgetting to separate what is and what will be.

For example - some consider when Jesus returns to be the end and all the world will be obliterated. Others keep it in context with the prophetic scriptures.

#1. When Jesus returns - this will be the end of the world as we know it, but not doomsday. Jesus and his angels will destroy all who have followed and worshiped the Antichrist and all who fight against him. The remainder of Earth's populous will not be killed and enjoy a new world under his rule.

#2. Doomsday.., the destruction of the Earth will take place sometime after Jesus as ruled for 1000 years. For an undetermined amount of time, Satan at that point will be released to try and deceive the world, to turn governments against Christ and all who remain faithful to Jesus. The Faithful to Christ will be removed from this planet. moved to a new Earth -while the earth is destroyed and the rest of humanity face judgment before God.

The signs to take place before Jesus Christ's return is extraordinary storms, increase of earthquakes and other seismic activity..., many new diseases, the nations in the Middle East Muslim countries surrounding Israel would descend on her to tear her apart (could include other nations of the earth helping the Muslims.

BUT THE BIGGEST SIGN..., Is the arrival of the Antichrist! Based on my studies of prophecy.., he may be the Muslim's awaited Mahdi - or someone who will have close ties with the Muslims of the Middle East. He will either debut at the Dome of the Rock or will do something of major significance there.., and will initiate a 7 year peace treaty with Israel.., most likely a forced arrangement rather than a happy mutual affair.

Thats the short, compacted version. Details would take a while to fill in, but this will suffice for now.

There aren't any "signs" of that in my religion, as there's no belief that there will be any kind of "doomsday".

Unless we humans bring it about.
