technically they last longer if refrigerated, but taste better at room temperature. but, it is very important that you do not wash the grapes until you are ready to use them. if you wash them and let them sit, they will develop "stem rot" - or start to get sunken and mushy at the point they connect to the bunch.
and, for a tasty, refreshing summer treat - freeze them! use them to cool drinks (works really well with wine for outdoor parties) or just as a yummy frozen snack!

I always do. They don't deteriorate as quickly if they're kept chilled. I take a fork, scissors, or a small sharp knife and make about 8 little holes in the plastic bag containing the grapes, because air circulation seems to help them stay fresh too. Just don't wash them until you're ready to use them; grapes that are even a tiny bit damp will go moldy quickly.

Agree with Smart Alec: do not wash before refrigerating. Also place in a brown paper bag rather than plastic and place in the bottom draw of the fridge. Remove and leave at room temperature, half an hour before washing and eating.

I use to refrigerate my grapes, but they lost their sweetness. I just rinse them off, put them in a big bowl and set them on the table. Makes it easier for snacking!

They don't require refrigeration, but they will definitely keep longer and taste better if you do!

I don't know if they will last longer, but they certainly do taste better when refridgerated, in my opinion.
