Ask your Dad if he's willing to allow you to be legally emancipated. That would mean that you legally would need to provide for yourself and that you don't need to stay under his roof. If he says, no, then ask him if you can live with a friend then.
If he's doing illegal drugs, you could call the cops on him. That would add pressure.
It's not healthy for you to be around illegal drugs.

I am sorry Kiera it sounds like you are not having the best of times and have it pretty rough. Unfourtanetly, no you have to be 18 years old before you can legally move out of your parent's house. The court system will probably decide to take you out of your father's house and put you in another person's care (don't think they will allow you to move in with your friend, sorry.) One of your family members like your mom, grandparents, etc will probably end up taking care of you when it comes down to it in the long run. I hope that I have helped you out.

because of the fact your buddy is a new child you may could desire to first have a courtroom order your buddy be removed from her mothers and fathers' abode. After this your mothers and fathers could seek for to be custodian, yet finding on the area it may desire to be no longer likely. If the girl isn't being bodily/sexually abused I doubt you have plenty risk of convincing the bench. mothers and fathers have a perfect to strengthen their infants and you, as her buddy, have a procedures fewer rights vis a vis her existence in accordance to the regulation.

Nope. Gotta be 18 to do whatever you want. But, if your dad is a druggie you have a TON of leverage there. Just tell him that you can't deal with his lifestyle and are moving in with a friend and their family. If he gives you a problem you could always threaten to turn him in.

no legally you can not unless you get emansapaded. Do you think he will come after you? If you call the cops then you will become a ward of the state unless you have another realitive you can live with. If you go stay at your friends house then her parents can go to jail for harboring a runaway. screwed situation! i'm sorry

you cpuld always try to get emancipated through the courts, but then I believe that your dad wouldn't be responsible for you financially at all. Might be something worth looking into if you feel like you can be on your own and are able to take care of yourself.

I've read your questions and your answers and you are VERY immature. Even though your dad may be a lazy "hippie", you should NOT move out because you are definetely not responsible or mature enough for that.

you might check with your local laws about emancipating yourself. You will have to go to court to do this. You must realize tho that starting this will bring in the authorities and could possibly backfire on you. If they arrest him, you might end up in foster care until they can decide your fate.

i would advice you to think about this clearly, u see one if you report him they might put you in foster care which could end up beenn worst cause i am sure they are not gonna want to emacipate you from your parent cause you cannot legally work etc.. i you think you are responsible enough bear on fot two more years as long as he is not abusing you!
don t follow in his foot steps ESPECIALY drugs OKAY! don t fight with him please! do you have more sibling younger? where is your mom?
