Lendingtree is just a clearinghouse. If you apply with them your reports will probably be hit by a massive amount of inquiries. That will seriously drive your scores down

It would be best if you checked with your own bank or credit union. If you do not belong to a credit union, join one.

NEVER! lending tree only takes your information and sells it to 3f different mortgage companies usually in california. they are the absolute biggest liars. i'm a mortgage broker in florida and i'm very honest and every once in a while i have a client shop me against lending tree and they get lied to all the way to the closing. at that point the customer backs out of the refinace with lending tree and comes back to me.

i would say no. because you will have a million and one people calling you trying to get you to refinance your home. if you are interested depending on what state you live in i may be able to help you. i'm a loan officer
