AAA is the best. You can get tons of discounts by having diffrent polocies with them (they do auto, life, house, and travel). I'm a first time driver and everywhere else I was quoted $1,000 or more a year. But with AAA on being add on to my parents insurance it was only a little over $300 with the good student discount (Full-time and at least a 3.0 GPA) and a good driver pledge. (I'm in California so I thinks rates vary)
With AAA you all towing is free (Miles depends on if you buy extra coverage). With others you have to pay and then eventually get the money back.
Plus they are always very helpful on everything and have offices all over the place (In Ca. at least they are).
By showing your card some places give discounts at hotels, car rentals, dining, and some stores.

statefarm and progressive are usually higher than liberty mutual, nationwide and all state no company is always the lowest. I would recommend getting a variety of quotes and reading the companies ratings, you want to go with a company with an A rating.
