This is a sensitive issue for a lot of female population out there.
What ppl do in OR is to use traditional method to cut it out with the root about1mm deep; scrap it off and put betadine (peroxide also works) over it with tape so that it would heal and hair will never grow again. It causes about 500 bucks, but it's a very simple procedure that can even be done at home. But be sure to take antibiotics as well if you do it at home.

are you talking course thick hairs like you'd find in the more "typical" places hair grows out of or are you talking short fine hairs?? nobody really notices the short fine ones. and if they did, only a real jerk would make a big deal about them.

A little bit of hair is natural. Don't worry about it. I think you might be able to bleach it or do a depilatory cream, depending on how close it is to your nipple.

Laser hair removal, it is expensive but well worth the money or debt for permanent removal. Try American Laser Centers

Do not shave! Pluck it out with tweezers.

I just pluck it with tweezers. Annoying to have to do, but it works.

Shave it? Wax it? If it's a lot... See a dermatologist.
