You can't explain. People are brainwashed by CNN and all that other BS. They take the verses of the Qur'an and they twist them, the same way they did with their own books. A good way to show what islam is, is by your expression. Chapter 55: Verse 4. "He who taught man expression." Be positive, and polite. Always have a smile and speak with kind words. People will then begin to question the crap they see on TV and will see what real muslims are. Its funny how over the past 6 years, when a certain president came to power, all of a sudden Muslims are terrorists. Alot of people don't know that the Jews lived under islamic rule for over 1000 years, and the Jews named that period "The Golden Age" Whats also funny is how all of a sudden islam supposedly says kill jews and christians. But when 700,000 iraqis are killed, the killers aren't terrosists. When the Indians were killed and erased from the face of their own country, those people who did that weren't terrorists. Give me a break. You sound like those people who say all Black people steal, and all Chinese know karate. Dumb sterotypical people.

You know, the only group who would listen and believe in you most are people of similar faith. For others to listen you must first shed off the bias perceptions and suspicion of other faiths. This is not going to be easy but if you are really into it then give up your faith and explain your view objectively about Muslims as former Muslim. Embrace other faiths as if your own. Besides, all faiths teaches love and peace and acknowledge a supreme deity called by different names.

Personally I don't believe Muslim = Terrorist. There are extremists in every group, and unfortunately they're the ones who make the news, leading people to believe they represent the whole of an entire group of people. That's just not true. What I think we need to do is to start teaching people to view what they see and read objectively and to remember that what is focused on by these mediums is often the extreme (to get ratings and readers). Of course with recent news about Terrorist Propoganda being spread by Imam's in Western European countries, and the US -- what are people supposed to think? Even so - I am pretty sure that not all Muslim's are terrorists.

What a shame that so many have usurped and perverted the honorable and historical Muslim faith and turned it into a religion of hatred, greed, and murder. There is no good thing that some evil or stupid person cannot turn into a bad thing.

It is sad that because so many Muslims are acting as terrorists and murderers at this time, that you and other good Muslims are assumed to be of the same mind. It is the same as Black Americans, Latino's or Jews being automatically classified as evil or bad because some Blacks, Latino's and Jews are indeed evil and bad. Here's a piece of news for all you bigots out there: There are evil and bad Caucasian people too, but you don't classify all Caucasians as bad. Likewise, it is unfair and unjust, and evil in itself, to classify all Muslims as terrorists, just as it was unjust for the American government to consider all Japanese, including US citizens, to be enemies of the United States during WWII.

I wish you peace and tolerance and understanding, as I wish the same for all peoples, races and religions.

People are scared. The world seems to be at a quite war, west against east. Most of us, (i hope most of us) in the western world don't see all Muslims as terrorist. But I'm afraid to say i think there are some Muslim communities trying to turn innocent Muslims against western, English life and values. More importantly trying to overcome Britishness. There's lots of issues in the media about immigration off scale and societies changing for the worst in areas of non whites. There's documentaries of mosks preaching damnation of the white western world. No-one dare speak of these things. It's classed as racism, but it's not. I AM NOT RACIST. It's the fact were NOT allowed to speak about our culture, the British culture, who has a right just as everyone else under the EU to speak out about our values, what we believe in. Muslim is NOT terrorist, everyone against the western world and it's freedom is a potential TERRORIST.

It's very easy to explain that Islam is not a religion of terrorism. Since Muslims learn the teachings of Islam from :
1) The Holy Quran. 2) The teachings of prophet.
You can let anyone read both of those sources of Islam. I am not saying the beliefs and basics of Islam, but I am talking about how Islam sees people as humans (first and last). And how the kind of relationships that those people can have.

We all know that not all Muslims are terrorists. However, a middle eastern man in the US will be looked upon with suspicion. I am sorry but that is the way it is. There are many evil fanatical muslims that murder innocent people everyday. If I were you, I would stay off of airplanes.

all the terrorists in the world are not muslims....i can gaurantee you that. there are many terrorists that are christian, jewish or whatever. people need to stop pointing the finger at the muslims and need to know that not all muslims are like that.
