-i found out this girl likes me
-she asks me out
-she kindof avoids me and wont talk to me
-a week after asking me out she hugs me when i dont expect it
-a half hour after she hugs me she says she likes me but she dosent know much about me so she dosent want to go out untill she gets to know me more
-than 3 weeks after that she sat next to me at lunch and ignored me but talked to all of her friends and then she said she has a goat, i couldent stop myself from laughing and she got mad at me and punched me. i dident mean to offend her but i guess she took it the wrong way. i mean it was just kindof random that she said that.
-the day after that she comes in to the lunch room w/ my best friend. one of my other friends asked them if they were going out they said yes. the funny thing is it dident bug me that much. i started thinkin "why my best friend and sense when was he ever serious iv never seen him be serious"
the ? i want answered is "what do you think she is thinking/doing?

Not sure how old you are...doesn't sound like you understand girls very much.
I would say she is ...or was ...interested in you and was flirting around, trying to get some response from you, while you were just puzzled and trying to figure her out. She could just be a very big flirt....but it does sound like she was interested.
Then you offend her...sort of....she probably hated you laughing at her...so she turns up with your best friend. You think that was an accident?
She was saying in actions "I'll show you"...maybe trying to make you jealous...and maybe trying to get back at you because you were laughing at her.
You probably should apologize that if you offended her, you didn't mean to...you just thought it was funny...did she say "you got my goat"...or something like that....it is a phrase that means she was irritated by something....it is a slang sentence and you evidently didn't understand what she meant.
Now that she is dating your best friend, you will have to wait and see....but later, you can let her know if you are really interested in her by responding when she is trying to communicate with you. Think you need to learn how to do that....and pay a little more attention to girls in general....and how they behave.
She sounded like she was trying a lot of things. What were you doing in response?

First, I think she is shy. I would guess you guys are in like 8th grade or around there. I asked a girl out in 8th grade and we used to talk every single day. But as soon as I asked her out and we went on a date, I was so scared to talk to her and I ignored her every day. And then we broke up because we never talked anymore. Well, that is sad. We should not be afraid to talk. What is the worst that could happen? You break up. You should talk to her. Be truthful. And what about this friend. Talk to him. Be honest. Maybe she wants to get your attention. This is not the best way to do it, but...then I suspect you guys are young....Good Luck.

Actually it doesn't matter, If he was your best friend lose him as one. Do not give her the time of day. Obviously they both do not care enough about your feelings to take them under consideration. Let them do what they want and just ignore them and move on. Maybe she is trying to get your goat! Good luck!

If shes punching you this could be a sign of flirting, if she did it for a laugh its defainaitly flirting if she did it seriously like SHUT UP! its not flirting
Sounds like she is sending you all of these mixed signals, if she continue dont date her

Oh more of this. . . she's trying to make you jealous. . . alot of girls do it and it's a really stupid tactic. Since you don't seem to be that interested in her, don't worry about it.
Also, if she's playing such games, you don't want her (trust me on that point).
