That is strange wording.

I have been played or used. I hated it. It caused pain because I was naive and innocent. This is done to all of us at some point. I realize now my whole generation was played and right now I feel great pain about it.

But when I have been played on by a lover that is very different! I refer to being played like a Stradivarius or a guitar, not as a victim of cruelty. Bring on the ropes, floggers, andfeathers!
