The friendship we have is priceless. He's been there through 4 moves and 2 wifes, and he's still a loyal friend. I wouldn't trade him for anything!!!

The love of a dog is priceless...We own dogs because we love dogs. The money should not ever stop us from caring for or taking in a puppy that needs a home, but we have to be aware of the cost and our commitment to the animal. The animal's needs have to come first! Lack of funds is no excuse for not providing adequate care for an animal. If we can not meet the needs of the animal or we are not fully committed to providing the time, energy, and finances that our dog needs then we should not bring that animal into our home, period, no excuses. It just is not fair to them.

I would say priceless, but my cheap husband would say I am not paying more then $500 for a dog. I am very upset with him becuase the dog I want is $1300, but he said NO. Thats why he is sleeping a lone and I am on the internet lol. I really love my westie, so I might consider renting her for a day or two for a billion, thats it. And the renters would have to be very kind people.

I can't put a price on that. Heck, I told my husband when he asked me to marry him that I would only if I could keep my dog and parrot! Seriously, how could anyone put a price on unconditional love?

honestly... i don't think there's a price for how much a dog loves their owner... two years ago i found a dog that was chow mix in front of my front yard... but i left him alone... six hours later i notice he was still there... so i went outside and notice he didn't have a name tag... i ask if wants to come inside... and he went straight for the cat food... i cleaned and fed him and named him chopstix... he was so cute and best of all he was potty trained... he listened amazingly well too... two weeks later, i took him to visit my sister... he does well in cars... he just sleeps till we get to our destination... well not on the night of april 17th... we were coming home after spending all day with my sisters... and i was so tired... chopstix kept on licking me which was unusual... so i yelled at him and he left me alone and went to the back seat... before i know it, i was in a car accident... i couldn't remember anything for the first hour... but after that i remember chopstix was with me... they told me he flew out of the window while the car fliped and he passed away... i felt so bad... i almost died too that night, but i was only paralize for 3month... and i knew chopstix gave up his life for me because i save him... i miss him so much even though we only spend two weeks together... i believe that he was my little angel... till this day that i still cry thinking of chopstix because his love for me was unconditional...
