Religion is the LAST place you need to turn. They will simply take advantage of your circumstances to get money or service out of you. Don't fall into their trap.

Speak to God and ask questions the same as you would a friend/parent. Speak to him in your prayers as if he were sitting next to you. What would you say to him? What would you ask him? Just do it. Even if you don't know what to say, say THAT. :-) Trust me, that is how I grew in a relationship with God when I was young. You learn as you go! After you start praying, you think of more things to pray, etc.
Also start to read the Bible about the prayers/experience of others. A good place to start is the book of Luke, and then Romans. It's a good way to get grounded in the word!

All you have to do is invite Jesus into your heart, then just talk to your father in heaven, ask him for his will in your life, ask him to place the right people in your path, everyday, read and study your bible, so you can speak with confidence about his promises, you can pray the "lords prayer", or use it as an outline, this is a good start, if you are a child of god, just make it simple and talk to your father.

Follow the example Jesus gave for us at Matthew chapter 6. Starting with verse 9 I think it is. Jesus gives a model prayer there. But you don't have to stick to that pray verbatome or anything. Pray from the heart!
God listens to those who are and who want to draw close to him (James 4:8).

Is there a Christian counselor in your area? I think you need someone you can talk to who can help you to process your grief. A Christian counselor can help you do that, and help you deepen your relationship with God.
You can talk to God and ask Him to help you find Him. He promises to do that. Read through the gospels and Acts. That's a good foundation.
If you don't have someone at church you trust or who feels competent to help you, and you can't find a good Christian counselor, consider seeing your school counselor or social worker. They can give you some good strategies for dealing with what's going on. You need to talk through this with someone.
I'm sorry your life is in so much turmoil. May God bless you in your search for Him.

turn to God sweet heart, not religion. Religion will bore you and desensitize you. But God will restore you and give you life. His Word in Proverbs says He'll be a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. You can bet your money on that. Pray to God, and tell Him what you are telling us. I

prayer is ok, just don't confuse prayer for action or even contemplation. Some things you can fix, some you can't. Work on the ones you can, try to handle those you cannot with some amount of grace. Oh, and don't confound your parents' feelings for one another with their feelings for you.

That's great. I think you should find someone to talk like a pastor or a friend who is saved. Just keep praying and ask God to send someone in your life to give you some guidance.

Thats good that you are trying to pray, but when you pray do you mainly only pray for yourself or for others? I found that most of my prayers were answered when I was not praying for my own selfish reasons but for other people.(I'm not saying that you are selfish in your prayers)Just have faith in God he knows what hes doing. I'll pray for you.

Well, I suggest you go to your local book store ( Barnes and Noble, Borders. Just any book store or Christian book store) And grab yourself a bible. Read a little every single day. Keep praying. Go to church. And accept that Jesus Christ himself died for our sins, then you have finally became a christian. yea its as easy as that. finally you are commited to Jesus Christ and when you die you will be with him in Heaven just like me :)
