How long is Pork good for in the freezer?

I put center cut pork chops in Ziploc freezer bags. How long can they stay good in the freezer? And how to tell if they have been freezer-burned? If they are freezer burned, is it safe to eat, or should I throw them out?
I sure don't want to get me and my family sick.

when my daughter was learning to become a nurse- they had to look at pork under a microscope and it had all worms in it-but i would say 6 months for your wormy pork,
