My mom used to love a certain penny candy she used to buy in the 50's or 60's?

She said it was a white sugar ball with a nut inside of it. She said it was about the size of a jawbreaker. It had crystalized sugar on the outside. Any ideas what this is?

try the dollar stores they might have something like that. They usually have retro candy.

was it a goldie? that is a maple flavored candy with a nut inside, just not white it is more tan.
