where are the best places to live in, here in the U.S, besides NY. I currently live here and want to move. I am a Physician Assistant, and am looking to start a life, but don't know where to go. Im looking for a place with lower cost of living, but beautiful houses, neighberhoods, schools, and somewhere where the weather isn't so cold, but also not arid hot or tornado or hurricane prone. I know that's a handful, but i would appreciate all suggestions. Thanks to all!

How about Greece or Mexico? American Samoa? Best bang for you American Buck!

But if you want to live in the USA I would suggest the Pacific Northwest (Oregan and the State of Washington) is supposed to have the most reasonable cost of living in the entire country.

Forget California though- it's sooooooooo expensive!

well I live in Valdosta georgia and I would so not come here lol..anyways I absolutely love savannah georgia, it's beautiful, much cheaper then a big city and everybody is friendly. Also I have some family in a city called Aiken south carolina, its beautiful and clean there, and very cheap to live, even the "nice" section of town. I would also suggest maybe florida, but tallahasse. Anyways I hope you pick a wonderful place to live, good luck!!!

How witty! permit's see, i will pass with people who have been real Yankees. None of those "weapons for hire" like Reggie Jackson. To me he won't be a real Yankee. How approximately Whitey Ford or Ron Guidry or Bernie Williams or Derek Jeter or Yogi Berra? wager i might might desire to pass with Yogi.

I live in Illinois and love it here. Wisconsin is beautiful too....But then you may want to get away from snow and stuff....So the Southern States are beautiful....Out west its nice too.
