Baja style shrimp: Marinade is tequila lime juice, slat, & shrimp.

Home sick, can't type. I meant that the marinade calls for tequila, lime juice, salt and then the shrimp.

You should be able to substitute another clear alcohol with good results. You could also just substitute another liquid of your choice like broth or juice. I'm not sure what the other flavours are in your recipe so I don't have any good suggestions.

skip the tequila. i have a shrimp recipe where you steam the shrimp in lime juice with red chiles and then finish with the tequila. i do this on my gas bbq in the summertime and send a huge flame shooting off the burner. my neighbours get a little nervous but forgive me when they try my shrimp!!

Just leave it out!!! or you could use a squeeze of lime juice!!
