I can't stop yawning. And I don't like coffee... or have any soda or a soda machine...

Oddly enough, eating an apple wakes you up better than coffee. It is due to a combination of natural sugars in the apple, the hand to mouth action and the act of chewing. Plus its good for you.

make sure you get a really good nights sleep,

before you go to work.
have a good nourishing breakfast .

(open a window , in your office ,for fresh air , )

mid morning;
have hot chocolate and a biscuit

Lunch time ;
a sandwich and a cup of tea +1 piece of fruit

Mid afternoon ;
tea and a biscuit at 3pm

all this will keep your blood sugar, at a correct level.
And you will lose that awful sleepy feeling .

stick to this plan ,for at least 4 weeks,
i know you will feel better and livelier soon, if you do

let us know how you get on
all best

Maybe an energy bar. They have so many to choose from these days! PB and chocolate are my favorite. Sometimes tea is a nice pick me up! Crackers? Good luck I have had those kinda days and sometimes no matter what you can't get rid of those yawns!

Try eating chocolate bars with 70 percent cocoa.These bars are healthier because of this composition and also act as antioxidants.Try it and it will give you a bit of a lift in the afternoon when you get drowsy.

If you don't like coffee, how about tea? I always keep a few tea bags in my desk drawer just in case, although it's usually just my 6-8 cups of black coffee.

Chew on a couple quality coffee beans! It sounds gross but it charges you up fast! I do it to study long periods of time!

Believe it or not, I saw recently on MSN that a person who's sleepy should take a fifteen-minute recharge nap.
Sucks if you've got nowhere to do it.
