My sister just finished nursing school today. She has her pinning ceremony late this month. Any great ideas for a nice gift for her? I'm so incredibly proud!
I suggested purchasing some crocs for her. Anything else?

I appreciate the ideas. She's hard to buy clothes for and she will be working at a hospital, so she can't wear personalized fun scrubs. Any more great ideas?

Crocs are OK, but not everyone likes them (I don't). You could also get her a stethoscope cover, name plate, drug book.

They have some beautiful necklaces that have a charm on them that says, I Love my Nurse. They also come with the charm separate which can be put on a beautiful gold or white gold bracelet which says the same thing. This is something very personal and also something that relates to her career. If I were a nurse, I would love one of them.

Treat her to a new hairstyle. I worked at a job with a boring uniform before so I always tried to project my personality through my hair styles. That or I think there's some kind of ring you can buy for sisters. Kinda like the daughters pride one. how bout both

If she doesn't have one a new stethoscope with her name on it, nurses are bad for going home with other nures ears. Several packages of ballpoint pens in blue or black, ckicked type and a small coin purse she can put in her scrub pocket for lunch money. If her hair is long, colored bands to keep it out of her face while putting i.v. in,

She will likely have to wear an ID badge on a lanyard, but that doesn't mean it has to be ugly, Check out the BooJee beads (link below). They also sell them in some stores and other online stores, like Kristen Uniforms.

what about business cards with a cute nurse label on them also address labels with nursing as the background. One place that offers terrific deals and does good work is Vista Prints.

Nursing accessories of her own. She will need a uniform or scrubs (you can get them personalized), stethoscope, etc.
Here is a cool link http://www.nursesdirect.com/.

Get her a gift certificate for a massage. She's been overwhelmed with school & that's something that she will enjoy. I did that for my sis when she got her RN & she LOVED it.
