The teeth are pretty bad, the front two are rotted alittle in the middle where they join, and the other four, two at each side are very rotten, and broke in half. He also has a baby tooth still in the bottom of his mouth which was never removed. He needs a Dentist but is reluctant to go because of the cost.Does any one know how much it would be and what would have to be done to make his mouth normal again? Thanks :)

Is he from West Virginia?? does he do "crack"? get this guy to a clinic! if he is under the poverty level set by the govt., he can qualify for treatment? no reason for a 19 yr old to have that much trouble. if nothing else? join the Army! they will take care of it for him?

If you can find a medical college in your area(example MCV Medical College of Virginia)sometimes they have a low cost or free area for situations such as this. Sometimes a regular dentist will work out a payment plan for those not covered by insurance. Your partner needs help. Rotting teeth can lead to gum problems, that can lead to heart problems, that can YES, lead to death! At 19 he has too much to live for.

I have an idea.
I have heard that you can receive very reasonable Dental Care at a Dental School. Check your area for what is available. It is better than losing your teeth forever. Only one tooth fairy, no cheating! And, he might feel comfortable around a student who is eager to learn, and not eager to criticize. Try an electric tooth brush, and lay off the sweets my sweet. Tooth decay can effect your whole system. It's not too late...

Unfortunately, he is going to have to fork over some dough to fix them. If he went to the dentist on a regular basis, he would not have had to worry so much about the cost. The longer he waits, the more it will cost....

Sounds like he'd need alot pulled, which could be expensive.
Im sure he could make monthly payments.
Studies have linked bad teeth to heart disease. he needs to get them fixed as soon as he can.
I dont know the cost, but any cost is worth it to keep him healthy.
Good luck!
