It depends on how you plan to use your chicken in the future. Usually I freeze raw chicken.
However sometimes I cook up a bunch of it..usually on the grill.. and cut it into bite sized pieces and freeze in appropiately sized packages for future use. That makes it easy to throw together a casserole or use in burritos or whatever.

Freeze them uncooked.
After you cook the chicken, refrigerate it and eat within a couple days.

Definitely freeze the ones you don't want to use right away uncooked. If you have a foodsaver, these are great for freezing extras and keeping them fresh longer.

Cook what you would like to cook and tehn freeze the rest of it. It stays much better and you don't lose all your great seasonings etc!

Definitely before - and like MissBri said, I usually only pack 1 or two in ziplock bags or wrap them in plastic wrap then aluminum foil.

this is what I do since I buy in bulk.
I put them each in freezer ziplock bags and only take out what I need at a time.
I put them in uncooked.
