I get so many people, i.e. christians, that come up to me, grab my pentacle and saying, "Oh, look the star of David," or "It's a jewish symbol, isn't it?"
I just want to know, do it ever bother you that no one gets it right or they pretend it's something else to suit them?
And do you ever really like someone touching your pentacle?

Yes, years ago when I wore a pentagram (it was an inverted one though), people use to ask me if I was Jewish. I think they just see star and think "Oh they must be Jewish!"
Now, I wear a Thor's hammer because I am Asatru, and guess what people mistake that for? And inverted cross. How they could come to that conclusion is beyond me.
As for someone touching pendents, they do that I will slap their hand back. I do not like people invading my personal space.

Yes and I find it funny. The people that do not understand, and do not want to, call it a pentagram. That is the most common thing it is called around me. They say, "That is the sign of the devil and you should stay away from it!" They do not understand and i find that funny. I still live my life the Pagan way and let them understand as The Mother and Father want them to understand.
To the other question, I used to hate when someone touched my pentacle or other worship items. Now it only bothers me when unenlightened people touch them, though i usually do not let them near these items anymore.

Everyone talking here does understand that Pentacle is actually an amulet made out of either parchment or metal that is not the actual name for the design. What you are talking about is a Pentagram design that has been made into a Pentacle. But a pentacle can be many different designs so it could be called many different things.

sure. that's in specific circumstances a touch a surreal ingredient and that i come across it difficult to place into words. I do in specific circumstances ask your self "why me"? i'm no person particular, i'm merely me... yet curiously my gods stumbled on a reason to call. i assume I merely finally listened and it took a jointly as because of the fact I had to be hit over the pinnacle persistently previously I have been given the hint. in specific circumstances contemplate whether others merely forget with regard to the call because of the fact i recognize how many human beings describe taking see you later to pay attention. i do no longer recognize if a god might merely supply up and say "properly i assume that one's merely hopeless" or what... some thing tells me that's no longer the way it works. My adventure tells me it may well be incredibly difficult to truly forget approximately that decision - finally you would be able to desire to settle for that some thing is going on. i assume it might rely regardless of the indisputable fact that.

the most common confusion about the pentacle is that many think that it has the same meaning as the reversed pentacle used by some satanists...

Yeah I had a woman call it a star of David, too. I politely corrected her and explained what it symbolized. I'm not big on other people touching it, but it doesn't freak me out either...

Someone called me a satan worshipper... it was funny. More often than not, people are actually starting to get it right though... when I wore mine I actually had people who would be sweet and say things like "Blessed Be" to me, like it was a greeting or something, then ask questions... it was cute.
