i have a friend that says that she heard someone say that this boy in my history and math class likes me but i don't beleiv her. then i ask him and he said yes !and now my friend is mad at me and i think that the boy is lieing cause alot of kids at school think that i'm popular cause i use to date a football and basketball player and i think that he said that cause he wants me to go out with me so that he could be popular.what should i do,and should i go out with him.please tell me!

if i understand correctly, he likes you...so why not? dont worry what other people think, unless you dont really like him, why would you do that?
