Its not to do with being clean. Acne that appears in your teenage years is to do with hormone imbalances that occur during puberty and this appears on your face, back and chest.

This is best treated by using a skin care range for oily/acne prone skin as well as using face masks and toners to tighten can clean out your pores. If you find that products you can get arent working go and see your doctor.

Acne that appears during your twenties is a lot to do with hypersensitive skin.

It is your hormones and over production of sebum (oil) and generally nothing to do with being dirty. If it worries you or you are just plain fed up with it go to your GP and they will perscribe tablets that will help. If these don't help much they will send you to a dermatologist who can perscribe you with a treatment that is suitable for your age, weight and height. It will take about 6 months to finally cure but it is worth it.
I am asuming it is you but if not pass it on to the person involved and you will be a pal for life.

It seems that acne comes from within. I feel sorry for you if you have it - luckily I escaped it in my teens but now in my 40's I have rosacea which is acne of the old!!!! See your doctor for tablets which eventually do work to a degree, but don't expect miracles.

According to the Queer Eye for the straight Guy show you need to change your sheets more often. Like every 4 days or so. Use an antibacterial soap (like the orange Dial) each day.

acne is not affected by cleanliness. it is cause by chemical reactions on/under the skin that clog your pores and trap oil inside of the pore/blackhead/whitehead. also, you can see you doctor or pharmacist for more advice. i just read this in a pamphlet that my doctor gave me. hope this was helpful!
