yes...you can ask, but they will make you take the test, they dont just turn over kids to men who claim to be their father.

Then yes he can. If he claims he is the father and signed the affadavit he can seek custody. However its very hard to prove a mother unfit and remove the child into the car of the father. And when I say hard I mean very very hard most courts wont remove a baby/child from the mothers home unless they can prove that the child is in danger

As for asking for a paternity test after the papers are signed..LMFAO good luck my nephew has been battling courts for a yr now over that.

If he signed the affadavit, then in the eyes of the law he is the father. then yes he can ask for custody of the child. The mother could possibly ask for a paternity test though.

He can ask, but custody will not be granted without a DNA test. Custody does not have to be granted with a DNA test if he cannot prove that he is gainfully employed, has a more than adequate home for the child, and he will not be granted custody if he has a criminal background.

Remember any man can be a father, but it takes a great man to be a Dad.

It depends if the paternity is contested (disputed). For the sake of the child, if there's no doubt you shouldn't fight over it.

The next step, of course, is his role as a parent (or lack there of). For example, if you have a 3 year old, and he hasn't been involved in the child's life, and there is little reason to believe he's going to be consistent all of a sudden there's a basis for arguing that point. It all depends on his capacity to parent and depending on the child's age the degree and nature of their attachment.

He can ask for just about anything he wants, doesnt mean he will get it. Someone cant just ask for someone elses child without a reason, if he is claiming to be the father than he will be required to take a test.

He knows that there is conceivable she's no longer his because of the fact he knows with regard to the mummy being with yet another guy around the time she have been given pregnant. If he hasn't pursued it, you do no longer could desire to deliver it up. sure, it is going to finally end up costing him some money if he has to pay new child help yet that's his concern to guard no longer yours. I understand which you adore your brother and are merely attempting to help yet you may desire to finally end up hurting him, the youngster and the whole kinfolk. merely save your thoughts to your self and enable him guard it as he sees in nice condition. that's no longer your conflict.
