Who do you love (show love for) more? God or your children?

God should come before anyone. As Christians, that can be hard to do sometimes. But you should definitely love God before your children. After God should come your spouse, then your children, then the rest of your family.
How can you put anyone on this world ahead of God in your life? God is the one that gave your children to you. He can just as easily take them away, but chooses to let you have them during this life. Praise Him FIRST. Always.

It is me, others and God in that order.
When someone overlooks the fact that he/she is the most important person in his/her life, then there is bound to be mistakes. Your life centers around you, so you have to be the most important character in it. "Love thy neighbor as thyself" implies that you must love yourself first, for if you have no love for yourself, you cannot love another person. After all, you cannot export what you don't have.
We need to realize that the love we have for anything (self, family, neighbors, anything at all) is what enables us to learn what divine love (or loving God) means. WE ARE TO SEE GOD IN EVERYONE. Therefore, it is the love we show for them that determines how much we love God. It is not the other way round.

You show more love to children - for they need to see it - God knows I love God (no need to show it...other's don't need to know. A public display gets you nothing from God).
