i dont see where you would take it out at it all looks like it is connected to the dash any one know??

You have to start by dropping the knee-bolster panel underneath the steering column; remove screws at the top and bottom and pull it off. There should be two screws underneath it on each side of the steering column; pull out these too. Remove the screw over the top of the instrument cluster. Now you can pull the entire dash panel that goes over the radio, climate controls, light switch, etc. You'll probably have to unplug some switches from the back of the panel. Once the dash panel's off you can unscrew the factory radio and remove it.

my s-10 is way older-probably have to take the dash off. sorry dont know, but if it helps- if the unit has four holes on the front then use 4 nails and push them inward to release the unit... some stereos can come out with two butterknifes on both sides of the unit press them inwards to release unit. either way be carefull you might crack the dash plastic..

around the outdoors corners of the radio are 4 small holes a gadget is made purely for that. or u can attempt and make one.out of a cord hanger. it rather is purely clipped in. if not start up taking sprint aside it rather is all clipped in
