Looks like you simply have a bad translation.
I don't think that you are going to get anyone to abandon his faith with such clumsy attempts.

In other words, it looks like poetry to me, and I think that it is rather obvious that Job is referring to the terminator between night and day.

Never trust commentators. They have a firm grasp on the obvious, but whenever there's a confusing passage, they're wrong 100% of the time.
When something is confusing you have to look into the Hebrew word derivations. The apparatus of your Bible will mislead you more often than not.
I recommend you buy an Englishman's concordance as a companion to your Strong's concordance.
And get rid of those "modern english" versions, get a Tyndale New Testament and a Geneva Old.

I think this is refering to the shores that keep the water in the sea. Since some people in Israel at the time saw the sun rise over the Dead Sea. It could also be refering to the border between Heaven and Hell.

Actually Job was speaking/referring to people such as yourself who has little understanding of the workings of God. This had nothing to do with cavemen.
