I shampoo and condition my hair everyday. Even though I know its not so healthy too. I also straighten my hair, and use a flat iron protection spray. When im done finishing straightening my hair, the next day my hair smells. Does anyone know what i can do to get rid of the smell. Also, my hair smells if i dont shower and put good smelling shampoo or conditioner in it

Even if i dont straighten it or skip straightening it for two days or so it still smells.

it's probably from straightening it so much. you should try some different hair styles that your hair can handle and alternate between straightening and the other styles...good luck!

You need to strip your hair once a week and give it a really good deep conditioning. DOnt go buy stripping shampoo though-just take 1/8 tsp baking soda and mix it in with about a quarter size shampoo-wash your hair with it, then use a really good deep conditioner. Joico K-Pak is one of the best, or Biolage Conditioning Balm

What kind of straghtener are you using? about the smell I would consult your beautician, but check the ingredients label, I have psorisas so I have to check for any 'parybens' your scalp maybe having a reaction to the shampoo or conditioner, also (no offence) you may have too much oil in your hair, you could check into that. But I would as my beautician first. ~neko-chan~

i had the same problem but then i tried Pro-V. The brand is a little more money then the rest but it works great! But with this product you only need to use it every other day.

It may be the hair staightener....try blow drying it and not sraghting it every day.

Hope this works!
