Left ring finger (the finger next to your pinky) Then when you get married your wedding ring goes on the same finger on the inside and the engagement is on the outside. This way your wedding ring is closest to your heart. lol

It is worn on the left ring finger. During the ceremony, you move it to your right hand. This is done so your wedding band will always be closest to your heart., by being the first ring on your finger. After the ceremony, return it to your left hand behind the wedding band.

I have seen some older women where bejewelled rings on their right however and haev always bveen curious about this.

im not sure about other traditions,but in the us/uk,it is the ring finger on left hand-in fact,here,most engagement and wedding rings come as a matching set,and u wear the engagement ring only b4 the wedding,after the wedding,u wer the matching engagement/wedding ring together on ur left hand.
