Ontario is mostly english.

Even though Canada is referred to as a Bilingual country, the only provinces that actually speak both French and English are Quebec and New Brunswick.

Mais oui.

But seriously. There are very few places in Ontario that you would need to speak French in. There are French communities in Ontario, but you will find that the people who live there can speak perfect English as well.

The official language of Ontario is English. You will need to learn French if visiting Quebec and/or New Brunswick where French is official.

Everyone in Ontario speaks English. It is Quebec where many people speak French (they also speak English but don't like to let you know that).

Firstly, it's QUEBEC

Secondly, probably only if you are going to very Eastern Ontario. But even then, you can get by with English.
