The main thing that you need to remember about persuasive speeches is that you want to convince the audience about something. So...what is it that you want to convince them about debt cancellation - what do you want them to walk away thinking? That people should utilize it? That there is an unfair stigma attached?

Once you know what in particular you want to talk about, base your speech on /why/ that's the case. For example, why should people use debt cancellation? Is it easy to use? Is it effective, or does it offer the best answer to particular problems? Is it flexible and easy to personalize to fit someone's particular monetary issues?

Build up your main arguments around the points that answer 'why' - there is no set number, but you want to have at least 2 or 3 solid points, and not more than 4 or 5 major arguments or it will get tedious and confusing. Make sure that you address any major arguments against your perspective and show why your points are stronger and more thorough - don't forget to cite experts in money management to support your arguments.
