OK, i'm not the prettiest around, but im not horrific. there's this guy i REALLY like and none of my friends know!! he's like the cutest of all yet no girl LIKE LIKES him. but I DO. and we have a class together, and i talk and laugh w/ him. i'm a lil' plump so i know he thiinks of me as just a friend. how do i st art more conversation w/ him cause i really like to talk to him

There are generally two schools of thought on this. The first is the direct approach. Coming right out and telling him you like him. As a guy I am also very stupid and appreciate such bluntness.
The second school is more subtle, and yet more predatory. A woman could give you better advise on how to do it, but I will do my best. Just don't tell your mother I told you this.
Interests - Any salesman will tell you the best way to sell something is to make the other guy sell it to himself. In other words, let him do the talking. Guys like nothing more than talking about themselves, or the things they like. Findout what he likes and get him to talk about it.
Gifts - These aren't the obvious gifts a guy woudl give a girl. Food is the way to a man's heart, so if you can cook bring something special in to school and only share it with him. Note, do not give him it outright as he might try using you for your snacks. (I can't believe I just typed that). Other little things, work too. The more things he has to remind him of you, the better.
Physical Contact - I personally am not a fan of hte touching, btu some guys are. Little things like brushing his hand "accidentally" or patting him on the shoulder. Don't be afraid to make contact. Most young guys like to horseplay, so ruff stuff is not bad, btu don't get into fights with him. Keep it playful.
Confidence - This might be the most important thing. Be confident in yourself. What's this about "i'm not the prettiest" and "i'm a lil' plump". Guys HATE needy chicks. Be confident and self assured. He'll respond to that.And if he does not, he isn't worth your time. And no more talking down about yourself. I'm sure you are a lot prettier than you give yourself credit for.

Girl. Get over your insecurities. PERFECT is different to every person.You never know what he may prefer. Plump is the new Skinny! On the real though If you two talk and laugh all the time then at least you've established a friendship. That means he likes your company. Now you can either chose to be grown about things and just tell him what you want or you can be unhappy and never know what could have happened. This is just the first of many. So grow some balls and talk to him =)

Find some sort of common ground, something both of you like , and just talk about. After that the conversation will just flow, I know how you feel.

Honey, I am "thick" as they say and I have never had a problem getting or keeping my man. Your weight will only be a problem if you let it. Be confident and be the best person you know how to be and the boys will see it and come running! Stay positive!

well first all you seem to be insecure in how you look...Guys dont have to like beauty they like confidence. You have to comfortable with yourself...a guy knows a chick with confidence because she seem so sure....so be sure it doesnt matter if you look like cookie monster...be the best damn cookie monster..neva consider as just as pretty as the next gurl No you are as pretty as the next..gain confidence girl...and just because you rplump you think he just gonna to consider you as just a friend...im plump and i know im sexy so gurl get with it....go ask him out for some slim chick takes him LOL im joking but 4 real you like go get him..never fear rejection its makes you stronger.

start conversations with something he's interested in.. find out his hobbies and favorite things to do. show him your interested in the things he's interested in. he'll like that you have things in common. good luck!
